The best way to get to Pinar de Campoverde, or just Campoverde as it's often shortened to, is to fly to Alicante–which is a two hour flight from loads of UK airports–then it’s around an hour’s drive. Pinar de Campoverde, which translated means Pine Forest of the Green Field, is around quarter of an hour’s drive inland from the stunning beaches here on the Costa Blanca. The town itself has grown from a small urbanisation in the 1980s to a busy and thriving tourist town with a full time population of around 3000, including a large and growing number of Brits. Its location is perfect for lovers of the outdoor lifestyle and close enough to the coast for water sports enthusiasts–but there’s tons to do here without even leaving the centre of town.
