Laura Hamilton jets off to the beautiful, whitewashed town of Alora in southern Spain to help house hunters Doc and Lucia find their dream property. The couple have decided to rent out their home in Devon and buy a permanent home in Andalusia. Their plan is to spend their half their time in Spain and the rest backpacking around world. Around a 3 and a half hour flight from the UK and a 45 minute drive from Malaga airport, takes you to Alora in Andalucia. This beautiful whitewashed town, known in Spanish as a pueblo blanco, is a town of two hills and is a maze of cobbled streets and steep slopes, lined with lemon and orange trees. Charming and quaint, with a good mix of shops, restaurants and cafes, Alora is particularly famous for its castle with stunning views across the valley.
