Gary and Jennifer from Northern Ireland are childhood sweethearts, who after 40 years together are looking to open a new chapter in their lives by buying a holiday home near the traditional Spanish town of Vera, on the Costa Almeria. About the area

Nestled between the mountains, Vera has a population of around 16,000 residents and is made up of two distinct areas – Vera Pueblo the traditional town centre inland, with its historic architecture and shops, bars and restaurants, and Vera Playa a 5 mile (8km) stretch of sandy beaches, flanked by palm trees and promenades.
