Derek and Jane from Lancashire yearn to own their very own bit of Spanish sunshine and with a budget of £220,000 have asked Danni Menzies to find their dream property in Chiclana de la Frontera. They want a property with a minimum of 4 bedrooms to accommodate all their grown up children, plus a private pool. So will Danni make a splash and deliver their dream home?

Chiclana de la Frontera

What's the area like?

Chiclana de la Frontera is both a town and municipality in Cádiz, Spain. It's 20 km south-east of Cádiz itself, and lies on Costa de la Luz. South of Chiclana you can find beautiful Andalusian white villages on the coast with Conil de la Frontera and Vejer de la Frontera being the most popular with tourists and foreigners expats alike.

Los Gallos is a residential area of Chiclana stretching from La Barrosa Beach towards the Chiclana town centre. It’s a mostly residential area – around 80% of the residents are Spanish and the rest are mostly British and German. This area is popular with expats and is considered to be one of the most desirable places to live due to its close proximity to the beach and to the town centre – it’s only five minutes drive in each direction.
