Now their dream is to buy their very first property together – and they’ve chosen the beautiful Orihuela Costa in southern Spain as the place to look! About the area

To get to Orihuela Costa in the south of Spain you can fly into either Murcia or Alicante airport in about two and a half hours from the UK, then it’s around 45 minutes’ drive. Orihuela Costa is named after the Sierra Orihuela mountains which protect it from northerly winds and help it have one of the most pleasant climates in Europe, averaging around 3000 hours of sunshine each year. This great weather, along with its roughly ten miles of beautiful coastline and some lovely countryside, has been making its towns and villages more attractive to holidaymakers and home buyers in recent years.
