About the area

To get to the Lazio region you fly into Rome which takes around two and a half hours from the UK – and my plan for this search is to look at properties to the north and west of the city. The Lazio region in central Italy genuinely has something for everyone – not least all the culture and history of the regional – and national – capital – but there’s also some stunning coastline, as well as beautiful countryside with a landscape ranging from mountains to lakes, dotted with beautiful towns and villages – and while Lazio may not be as well known as some of its neighbouring regions, I think it offers everything they do – but with a crucial difference being the properties here are more affordable.
