Nikki and Gordon are searching for a holiday home with great views on the island of Gozo – and tasked with finding them the best of what their £350,000 budget can get them is property expert Ben Hillman. He has five impressive properties up his sleeve but will any of them be the perfect place for his house hunters?
About the area
Gozo doesn't have an airport, so to get there you fly to Malta, which takes around three hours from the UK – then it’s a 25 minute ferry journey which costs just over four pounds. Gozo is a small but I’d say perfectly formed island – 8 miles long and four miles wide with a population of just under forty thousand. There’s loads to do here in terms of sun sea and sand, as well as some beautiful countryside and tons of historic buildings. It’s a popular place with British holiday makers and home owners as English is the main language here and they even drive on the left hand side of the road.
