Majorca
What's the appeal?
With over a hundred direct flights a day from various UK airports carrying more than 5.4 million visitors, Palma de Mallorca is Spain’s 3rd busiest airport (after Madrid and Barcelona) and one of the easiest to get to (the flight time is around 2 hours). It’s no surprise, then, that Mallorca (a Spanish island) regularly tops lists of favoured world holiday destinations for Brits. - With sea temperatures nudging into the high 20’s during summer and high water visibility it’s a paradise for divers (one of the most popular spots on the island) and other watersports enthusiasts with plenty of places to get out onto the water either for swim, a snorkel or a paddle around the shoreline or, for the more adventurous, a parasail, windsurf or jet ski.
