Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber has splashed out on a $10.8 million mansion in Beverly Hills as an eighteenth birthday present to himself.
But for him, the purchase is rather modest. Bieber is the second highest paid celebrity in the world under the age of 30, only beaten by Lady Gaga, and earned a cool $53 million in 2011.
Designed by architects Jeffrey and Rochelle Mills of Mills Studio, the home is made up of glass and steel boxes that appear to float above the home's large pool and patio. With a whopping 9,400-square-feet of living space, the five bedroom home has plenty of room for the singer, his girlfriend Selena Gomez as well as his large entourage of security and managers.
There are also plenty of impressive design features such as glass chandeliers, retractable glass walls, a large kitchen, gym and massage room.
There are also several outdoor spaces including enclosed gardens, terraces, and outdoor rooms with stunning mountain views.
Now all Bieber has to do is wait for the former resident (rumoured to be recently divorced Ashton Kutcher) to move out.
If Bieber had picked up the home with a traditional mortgage, he would be paying back around $39,979 a month. Lucky he's got a bit of cash in the bank.
