Full Description

4 Bed 2 Bath Apartment in Salinas (Alicante) only 85,000€

This is quite a special opportunity to own a wonderfully located apartment in the lovely town of Salinas that is on the 2nd Floor but with very wide staircases with very few steps and with two balconies offering views across the town to the mountain ranges that surround Salinas.

Not only is this a quality-built apartment block but it was built for families and is an excellent option to what the Spanish call bungalows and we English call townhouses which are very expensive in comparison.

Another option is to buy this property as an investment as we estimate a monthly rental will achieve 550-600€ and the apartment will increase in value year on year. Currently Salinas property is realising increases of as much as 10% per annum.

A very impressive, very large hallway takes you to the wide staircases and up to the second floor. Entering the apartment you have a long L-Shaped passageway with the four bedrooms and two bathrooms first and then the living areas, the lounge/diner and the kitchen. The kitchen is a very decent size compared to many Spanish kitchens and is functional but would appreciate being updated.

The bedrooms and lounge/diner are all light and airy and, of course, one of the bedrooms could be used as an office or a stand alone dining room. Salinas has 1gb internet available.

The two balconies can be accessed from the Master/Principal (PC correct) Bedroom and from the Lounge/Diner. The views from both really are breathtaking and it can be hard to believe you are slap bang in the middle of a town and not in the countryside.

Within a one minute walk you have the choice of four bars/cafes and three restaurants as well as two parks and a five minute walk, if that, to an outdoor public swimming pool open from June to the end of September for a very small fee and you can come and go as you please during each day of admission or you can buy a season ticket.

Other amenities include, two bakeries, one of which a number of people travel to from other towns as it is known to be very special and they sell mountains of their flour. Also, there are two banks, a medical centre, a weekly market, a pharmacy, at least two hairdressers, an eco park to take your recyclable stuff to and probably much more that I have forgotten. The town is traditionally Spanish and has a population of around 1,800 but is growing year on year and there is almost full employment which means very little crime, Salinas is safe for you and your children.

Here are six strong reasons people choose to live in Salinas:

Peaceful small-town lifestyle

Salinas is known for being quiet, relaxed, and far less crowded than coastal Costa Blanca towns. Many residents like the slower pace and strong sense of community. Affordable housing

Property prices are generally much lower than in Alicante city or beach areas. Larger homes, fincas, and countryside properties are common for comparatively modest prices. Beautiful natural surroundings

The town sits near the Sierra de Salinas mountains, with hiking, cycling, open landscapes, almond groves, and nature views all around. It appeals to people who enjoy outdoor living.

4. Authentic Spanish atmosphere

Unlike heavily touristic coastal resorts, Salinas has kept a traditional Spanish village character with local fiestas, markets, and community events such as the “Moros y Cristianos” celebrations.

5. Good climate with cooler summers than the coast

The area gets plenty of sunshine while being slightly elevated, which often means cooler nights and less humidity than seaside towns.

6. Good access to larger towns and services

Even though it feels rural, Salinas is close to larger towns like Villena, Elda, and Alicante, with road connections to shopping, healthcare, beaches, and the airport.
