In detail
The property is accessed by way of a pedestrian gate or a double manual gate onto the carport. At the front, there is a very well-kept – mostly paved – front garden with shrubs and fruit trees.

There is also a window overlooking the outdoor kitchen, pool and the Candeeiros mountain. To the side of the kitchen there is a door leading out to the carport and exterior.

Adjacent to the living room, there is a hallway with built-in wardrobes for storage. Next to it, there is a fully tiled bathroom with a walk-in shower, full suite and vanity unit.

Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom with windows looking on to the back of the property, and laminate flooring.

From the living room, there is a stone staircase with stainless steel handrails leading to the first floor.

Just off the landing, also with laminated flooring, there is a fully tiled bathroom, featuring a bathtub, full suite, and vanity unit.

To the left there is a good-sized bedroom which also features laminated flooring with built-in wardrobes and a window which faces the Candeeiros mountain range at the rear of the property.

On the opposite side, there is another good size double bedroom with a window facing the back of the property.

Water heating is provided by a gas boiler system. There is fiber available in the area.
Outside
The front and side gardens are low maintenance with gravel beds with mature fruit trees - such as lemon and orange – and other plants.

The exterior features an elevated heated pool with cover, perfect to enjoy the Portuguese sunshine. The pool features internal steps for easy access in and out.

Next to the pool there is an outdoor kitchen with a built-in brick barbecue and plenty of space for covered seating. There is also an outdoor shower installed.

This area is fully block paved and the back wall has been glazed to ensure protection from the wind, making it ideal for sunbathing.

At the side of the property there is a storage room housing the pool equipment and other garden equipment. Here is also a gate separating the back and front parts of the garden.

The drive into the carport and back of the property are fully block paved.

Location
There is a café in the village, around a 10-minute walk. A great spot to meet up with your neighbours, enjoy a coffee and lovely fresh pastries.

The property is located 10 minutes from the historic main town of Alcobaça by car. Alcobaça is a lovely town that is big enough to provide you with everything you need but still small enough to be personal. There are supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, banks, health centres, dentists, a hospital, a beautiful park and all other amenities you would expect from a mid-sized town.

Alcobaça is world famous for its fabulous monastery which is a must see. It is surrounded by streets filled with wonderful old buildings in a variety of architectural designs. There are many cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy the local delicacies. Opposite the monastery is a wide pedestrian area where you can sit and enjoy a wonderful smooth coffee or a glass of chilled vinho while relaxing and watching as the world meanders around you.
There is a twice weekly fruit and vegetable market in Alcobaca where you can buy wonderful and fresh local produce as well as fresh baked bread, cheeses, pulses, beans, nuts, dried fruit, beautiful and colourful fresh flowers, baskets and many other local artisan products.

Twenty minutes away are the beautiful beaches at São Martinho do Porto or Nazaré and both towns have a healthy central shopping area that has a variety of shops, cafés, and restaurants.

São Martinho is one of the most popular towns and beaches on the Silver Coast. The town itself surrounds the shell shaped bay which in itself provides a safe area for families to enjoy days on the beach with safe swimming. The beach stretches all the way around to the nearby village of Salir do Porto. In São Martinho do Porto there are numerous restaurants and cafes that cater to many different palates. In addition there is a pharmacy, supermarkets, several mini-markets, butchers, bakeries, lovely pastry shops, gift and souvenir shops as well as clothing shops and shops with wonderful products for the home and garden. A promenade and cycle track stretches around the whole bay with the cycle track connecting to the Estrada Atlântica where you can cycle for miles. There are also fabulous walks that surround this entire area.

Lisbon and Lisbon Airport are just over an hour away.
