The picturesque medieval hill town has around 1,500 inhabitants and was the birthplace of the incomparable master Michelangelo Buonarroti. Caprese Michelangelo is also known for a unique variety of chestnuts, which have been granted DOP status (equivalent to DOCG wines) and which can only be grown in Caprese Michelangelo and a part of Anghiari called 'Marrone di Caprese Michelangelo'.
Shops, supermarkets, banks, etc. can all be found in Caprese Michelangelo along with several excellent restaurants, known for the quality of their cuisine and use of local produce, including wild boar, mushrooms and truffles.
Il Nascondiglio is located in a small countryside hamlet in the municipality of Caprese and is set out over two floors for a total of c. 40 sqm as follows:
