The municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna is located in the north-east of Tenerife between the Anaga Mountains and La Esperanza Mountain. On the coast to the north of the municipality are the agricultural districts of Tejina and Valle de Guerra and the tourist centres of Bajamar and Punta del Hidalgo.
