Full Description

Here we have a large village house in good structural condition, currently with a full bar on the lower floor, combined with a very large 150m2 function room with BBQ area and new male and female toilets, which could so easily be turned into a large studio, large garage, restaurant or anything else that you would like to use this great space for.
The main house has three stories, a further two above the lower floor bar. On the first floor you will find two bedrooms, a large bathroom and a large separate kitchen. Up the stairs will take you to the second floor with a large bright lounge and three further good size bedrooms. The last staircase takes you up onto the large terracotta roof terrace with some great views across the village and out to the Mediterranean coast. The beautiful coastline is very close by, and can be reached in less than a fifteen minute walk.
The origin of the village of Piles seems to be from a very small Muslim farmhouse dependent on the castle of Rebollet, conquered by Jaime the first in the year 1240. At that time the current municipality was largely swampy. Its history has been linked to those of the County of Oliva and Duchy of Gandia, to which it once belonged. With the expulsion of the Moors, it was almost uninhabited for a long time before being repopulated with Christians in the many years to follow. Today it has lots of activity, including a weekly market, large supermarkets, medical centre, restaurants, some great tapas bars and a large sports ground
The Mediterranean beach of Piles has a good influx of people of various nationalities, especially in the summer. It has good walks along the beach. The sunset walks are particularly spectacular. The tides do not have much influence on the Piles beach, so there is almost always the same beach covered with golden sand, combined with a very level drop off the further out into the sea one goes.
The waves are also small, and always allow a pleasant bathe or swim. It also has several lifeguard and Red Cross points along its width. If you are looking for a new project, this could become a beautiful family home, guest house/B&B or maybe a pub with the living accommodation above. There is nearly no end as to what could be done with this magnificent property.
