Lee Juggurnauth jets off to Portugal’s Algarve to help house hunters Audrey and Tony find the perfect holiday home. Audrey and Tony first met five years ago whilst on holiday in the Algarve so it has always been a special place for them. Lee has five fantastic properties up his sleeve for their budget of £220,000, but will any of them be the one for Audrey and Tony?

About the area

The Algarve on Portugal’s southern coast is one of the country’s most popular tourist hotspots with most direct flights to Faro taking under 3 hours from the UK. It’s not hard to see why, with over 120 miles of gorgeous beaches – most with golden sands and fantastic watersports and all making the most of a year-round mild climate. Tourism has developed once sleepy fishing villages into bustling towns with busy promenades and great choices of cafes and restaurants. There are also loads of world-famous golf resorts, many with hotels bars and clubs on site - making this a real golfer’s paradise. In amongst all the action there are still quiet beaches, plazas and squares where you can relax, unwind and soak in a bit of traditional Portuguese culture.
