Main houseThe main house has a covered terrace. This is also the entrance to the kitchen (28 m²) with its chequered tiled floor. On the garden side is a full-length worktop and enough space for a large dining table. There is a wood-burner in the corner. The kitchen is in open to the living room (40 m²). The deep dark brown beams, the characteristic wooden floor and the large fireplace create the real French atmosphere. Installing a wood-burner in the fireplace will certainly increase the living comfort. There are two French doors to the covered terrace adjacent to the living room. At any time of the day you can find a lovely spot to have breakfast, lunch or just doze off.
The hallway adjacent to the living gives access to 2 bedrooms. One accommodates 4 beds and the other a double bed. From both bedrooms the brightly coloured bathroom with separate shower and bathtub can be accessed. In the hall is a separate toilet and storage.
Through the living room, the old wooden staircase takes you to the spacious landing of the 1st floor where there are 2 separate bedrooms with 3 double beds each. There is a bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin. Under the house is a large cellar, suitable for storing garden equipment, for example.
Outdoor lifeThe pool is located a few steps down and has a terrace all around. From the lounger or the pool you look over the meadows. The pool is equipped with a head pump, cleaning robot and a roller cover.
Adjacent to this terrace is an open barn in which a summer kitchen has been created and a seating area. A table tennis table would also do nicely here.  In the corner is a staircase leading up to an enclosed space with 3 beds. On the ground floor is a washroom with 2 showers, toilet and laundry room, handy for rinsing off after a dip in the water.
There’s also a tennis court on the property where you can hit some balls.
The property covers a total of over 1.2 hectares, of which the house plot is about 4,600 m². The neighbouring farmer lets his cows graze on the remaining part. There are everywhere nice corners for sitting or sunbathing. There are several trees and shrubs that provide a pleasant setting. There is also a well in the garden.

Location and amenitiesThe ensemble is located in a beautiful rolling landscape, close to all kinds of nice villages where markets and festivals are organised in summer. In the surrounding villages you will find nice restaurants for a “plat du jour” There are many castles, beautiful caves and nice small museums. Lovely old villages like Ségur le Château and Arnac-Pompadour (known for its horse races). Large towns like Lubersac and Saint Yrieix la Perche can be reached in 20 minutes.
