Location

The village of Foz do Arelho has several mini-markets, cafés, restaurants, a bank, hotels, and one of the most scenic and beautiful beaches in the area.

Also a five minute drive away is the main town of Caldas da Rainha. Caldas is a historic spa town, where you can find all amenities. There is a hospital, schools and the council for the municipality. The town also has a variety of restaurants from various cuisines, shops, supermarkets and a very popular farmers’ market, where you can find fresh vegetables, fruits, and flowers.
Caldas is famous for its ceramic industry, one of the most characteristic ceramic styles in Portugal. Caldas also has a wonderful park, with a large lake, where you can see many different birds. The park houses different activities and events throughout the year.

Lisbon and Lisbon International Airport are an hours' drive.
