Full Description
This is a very large apartment typical of the days when apartments were built for proper families and not for young couples or single people.
There are 4 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms, I always think that 2 Bathrooms are essential for this size of an apartment. The location is excellent, it´s hard not to have a good location in Sax as the town is only small but this overlooks a lovely avenue and there is great access if you want to get out of town. The apartment has hot and cold-pumped air conditioning. Every room faces out so there is lots of natural light.
There is a large lounge/diner with a bar which is a great room for getting together with friends, there is also a feature fireplace to cover the three winter months. For outside space, there is a large balcony for sunbathing or relaxing.
Oh! And best of all, it is located on the top floor and there are no worries about neighbours above. Of course, there is a lift in the block. Also, there is a garage space so no need to have any worries about your car although Sax has full employment and subsequently ridiculously low crime rate. The house is located next to the Consum supermarket, butcher shop, bakery, pharmacy, schools, sports city, etc., with all kinds of services that are essential for day-to-day living.
Located in the province of Alicante in the Valencian Community, Sax is a small town, with a population of just over 10,000, that is quickly becoming a popular choice for those seeking a quieter, more relaxed lifestyle. Here are five reasons why you should consider living in Sax:
Natural Beauty
Sax is nestled at the foot of the Sierra del Cid Mountain range, providing residents with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The town is surrounded by almond and olive groves, and the nearby Parque Natural del Carrascal de la Font Roja offers a great opportunity for hiking, rock climbing, and mountain biking.
Cultural Heritage
Sax is steeped in history, with its origins dating back to the Roman Empire. The town's medieval castle and the San Blas hermitage are two of its most iconic landmarks, and there are many other historical sites and buildings that are well worth a visit. The Alberto Sols Museum is particularly popular and very interesting.
Festivals and Events
Sax is known for its lively cultural scene, with numerous festivals and events taking place throughout the year. One of the most popular events is the Moros y Cristianos festival, which takes place in February, the 1st to the 5th, and commemorates the town's Christian victory over the Moors. Other events include the annual Fira de San Blas, a craft fair that attracts visitors from across the region.
Quality of Life
Sax offers a high quality of life, with a good range of local amenities and services. The town has a small but vibrant community of expats, and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in local activities and events. The climate is mild and sunny, with an average of 300 days of sunshine per year, making it a great place to enjoy outdoor activities all year round.
Sax generally has full employment and, subsequently, an incredibly low crime rate, it is safe for everyone and, most importantly, you feel safe.
Location
Sax is conveniently located just 35 minutes from the coast and the popular tourist resorts of Alicante, Santa Pola, and Torrevieja. The town is also just a 10-minute drive from the city of Elda and the town of Villena, which both offer a wider range of amenities and services.
